Abstract :
A multicriteria optimization approach to the formulation of land use policies for community development is presented. The construct adds to municipal cost-revenue analysis by incorporating socioeconomic and demographic factors. It also deals with community goals in an explicit manner. Results are presented based upon experience in a small city.
