Abstract
This paper describes computational developments in the reliability evaluation of distribution systems. The techniques are based on interactive computing using a graphics terminal as the means of communicaticn between, the user and the computer. This type of computation enables the distribution planning engineer to construct, expand, reinforce and otherwise modify his networks using his natural mode of network drawing. The structure of the techniques permit sensitivity studies on alternative designs to be performed very easily. This is an important task in any properly structured reliability assessment. Typical displays seen on the graphics terminal are included.
