  • Abstract
    Reduced complexity coherent detection based on maximum likelihood sequence estimation using the Viterbi algorithm is proposed for the reception of uncoded M-ary PSK signals with unknown carrier phase. The computer-simulated bit error rate performance of 4PSK is reported
