Abstract
This paper presents a review of the state of the art and practice of transmission line tower design with specific attention to structure loading conditions, comparison of results using different tower analysis techniques and a comnentary on some criteria of the ASCE Manual 52 "Guide Ebr Design of Steel Transmission Towers."
