Abstract

The rapid adoption of smart devices and the evolution of Web technologies have enabled the developer to create sensational applications that distribute different groups of web content components to different devices, e.g. Tablet, TV, AV Amplifier. Effective utilization of the device´s features is indispensable to enhance the user experience. This paper proposes a device recommendation method for web-based distributed browsing that automatically matches the type of web content with the device, either DLNA device or Web browser. In addition, a review of the practical implementation of the proposal is reported.
