Abstract
Gas-in-oil analysis on large power transformers during factory tests is discussed. Measurement of levels of combustible gases generated during the usual 24 hour heat run provides valuable information on the condition and performance of the unit. Incipient faults can be detected and corrected before the units leave the factory.
