Abstract
In this paper, we propose a novel blind image restoration method based on the total variation (TV) regularization and the shock filter. It involves alternate iteration of point spread function (PSF) estimation and deconvolution. Using this method, we can obtain clear images from blurred images without increasing noise and ringing. Experimental results show that our proposed method improves picture quality, especially dark portions, and the computation time of our method is almost 5 times faster than that of the conventional method.
