  • Abstract
    All the major components of an ac superconducting power transmission system have been developed. A summary of test results during the developmental stages is given. A Test Facility designed to demonstrate and evaluate cables rated for 138 kV, 1000 MVA 3 ÿservice is under construction. Most of the equipment has been installed and tested; results are presented.
