Abstract :
The proposed method is aimed to solve the problem of structuring a set of objects of a distributed computer system and it´s representation as a composition of subsets. A weighted ordinary graph is used as a model of the system. To solve the problem, the authors propose the use of the effect of separation of vertices into individual clusters, which can be observed when displaying a set of compact subgraphs at a graph. A concept of compact subgraphs and an algorithm for their formation is introduced. The solution of the structuring problem is illustrated by the example of a weighted graph.
