Abstract
A new method is presented for the calculation of short-circuit currents and voltages using an iterative technique to form the bus impedance matrix. This approach provides a very efficient interactive algorithm and a high degree of calculating accuracy since it takes account of all shunt elements and off-nominal transformer ratios.
