Abstract :
The paper is devoted to comparison of the properties of tracking and stabilizing PI controllers which are designed via time-scale separation technique. It has been shown that the proposed tracking PI controller allows to provide robust output control and almost perfect tracking under model uncertainties and external disturbances as well as the stabilizing PI controller allows providing desired output transients performances under step change of set point. Robust control is provided due to two-time-scale motions that are artificially forced in the closed-loop system.
