  • Abstract
NEESPLAN is one utility´s approach to planning for the 1980´ s and 1990´s. It departs from the traditional approach to utility planning by attempting to limit the growth of demand for electric energy. As a result of the plan, the customers are expected to save $ 1.3 billion. The corporation will reduce capital requirements $ 2.6 billion, reduce the need for outside capital and improve financial coverages.
