Abstract :
Using the bipolar coordinate system and assuming the condition of a constant current within the interelectrode region, a rigorous expression for the voltage-current relation for cylinder-to-plane configuration for the case of unipolar dc corona was obtained. From the general integral formula established, simple practical formulas, introducing sufficiently small errors, have been derived.
