    IEEE/SSCS Santa Clara Valley, the first Solid-State Circuits Society chapter in the world, held a tenth anniversary party on 22 March, 2007 featuring a lecture by Stanford University Professor Mark Horowitz. Past chapter chairs in attendance were Jonathan David, John Merrill, Lee Colby, Dan Oprica, Sorin Spanoche and Eric Hoffman.
