Abstract
In this paper a Flux Switching Permanent Magnet Machine (FSPM) and a Flux Switching Machine (FSM) with hybrid excitation (HE) are compared regarding their torque-speed characteristic. Different flux control strategies are implemented and the resulting torque-speed characteristic is discussed.
