    Professor Asad Abidi of UCLA has been selected as the recipient of the 2008 IEEE Donald O. Pederson Award in Solid-State Circuits. He will be honored for his "pioneering and sustained contributions in the development of RF-CMOS" at the next meeting of the ISSCC in February, 2008
