Abstract :
This correspondence describes a computer-aided design technique for designing an active distributed RC network with an impulse response thai is closest to a specified time function in L_{2} space. The Ghausi-Bello procedure is used to derive the network structure and initial parameter values. For optimization the gradient is computed by the adjoint network method after being extended to include distributed parameters.
