  • Abstract
    New explicit expressions of the insertion voltage-ratio function V_{20}(s) / V_{2}(s) - k Q(s) / F(s) [1] and the reflection function \\Sigma (s) = H(s) / Q(s) for the mid-shunt (mid-series) low-pass LC ladder filters in terms of the network element values are given. The relation that exists among the polynomials Q(s), F(s) , and H(s) , i.e., FF \\ast = QQ \\ast - HH \\ast , is also derived from the established expressions.
