Abstract :
The application areas of wireless sensor network often suffered from the threat of limited energy resources. The potentiality of the applications is directly dependent on the number of active sensor nodes are available within the sensor network. Maximizing the lifetime of the sensor nodes is the ultimate way to improve the lifetime of the entire sensor network. Considering mobile sink node raises a new aspect to the wireless sensor network applications in large scale networking. It improves the performance in case of target detection, can pretend the energy hole problem but throws a new challenge of updating the sink´s location information as the sink node is being propagated continuously and the frequent location updates requires heavy energy dissipation for the sensor nodes to maintain the routing path. In this paper we introduce a novel cluster based routing protocol which is aimed to optimize the nodes energy usage with considering the mobility for the sink node to pretend the common energy-hole problem.
