Abstract :
The ever-increasing number of integrated transistors on silicon chips has earned fame as "Moore\´s Law," according to which miniaturization and "cleverness" (more compact device designs) reduce cost-per-element, increase storage capacity, and promote reliability. Low-cost integrated electronics have revolutionized everyday life and expanded the role of computation in science and engineering.
