Abstract :
A decomposition approach for the stabilisation of a class of linear time-invariant multivariable systems, in which the inputs to various subsystems are uncoupled, is investigated. Sufficient conditions are derived for stability of the composite system in the presence of perturbations. An upper bound is found for the stability of the overall interconnected system.
