  • Abstract
    The article focuses on importance of continuous control systems introduction for technical state control of electrical arc furnace transformers. Technical characteristics of FTOHBR-150200/35 transformers installed at 180 ton electric arc furnaces (EAF-180) of the electric steelmaking shop, OJSC “Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works”, are given. The authors considered the technological functions fulfilled by the system of technical state control. They described the operational diagram and the diagnostic TDMS system introduced at the EAF-180 No 1 and No 2 of the electric steelmaking shop. The advantages of the module structure are explained. The authors offer an example of time charts of recorded parameters and the screen view of generalized diagnostic characteristics. They also stated the technical and economic advantages offered by the developed system.
