Abstract :
We describe principles of development of some forest image analysis algorithms proposed for implementation in forest fire early detection systems. Algorithms of geometric background aligning, image segmentation, intensity smoothing, and high-intensity objects contrast detection and movement detection are considered. We demonstrate functionality of developed algorithms and suggest some recommendations on their application.
