  • Abstract
    A technique for measuring the DC voltage distribution on suspension insulator strings was developed. The technique involved the application of some specialized electrostatic voltmeters and distribution measurements were performed on a string of thirty glass insulators at voltages up to ±600 kV. Some of the factors which can influence the voltage distribution were studied.
