Abstract :
A smart power IC for VCR motor control has been developed combining all functions of three conventional VCR motor drivers, together with additional new features for improved system performance. Filter networks and sensing resistors are no longer required. This is made possible by using BCD technology, which is already state of the art in the automotive and hard disk motor driver applications
