Abstract :
Experimental evidence is provided to verify bifurcation and chaos phenomena, which have been analysed and studied in detail in other publications, in a current-mode controlled buck-boost converter which operates at 20 kHz. A discrete model for a buck-boost converter under current-mode control is proposed and used for the study. A good agreement between the theoretical study and experimental results is found.
