Abstract :
A brief biography of the life and works of John Harold Morecroft is presented upon the occassion of his death. Professor Morecorft succumbed on January 26th in Pasadena, California, to an attack of pneumonia contracted while watching the Columbia-Stanford football game on New Year´s Day.
