Abstract :
A new device of mutually coupled series reactor is proposed. Analytical and experimental studies on the working models by using the miniature system are conducted. Effects on improvement of stability limits, suppression of fault currents, minimization of shaft torsional responses of the turbine generators, and control of the power flow in a power system are proved for the applications of the reactors.
