  • Abstract
    A brief account is given of the developments conducted previous to 1930 which resulted in improved frequency stability for quartz crystal controlled oscillators. An improved oscillator circuit is shown with the author´s theory of operation and both laboratory and operating data on its performance. Commercial equipment using this circuit has demonstrated consistent stability of better than 10 parts in 106.
