Abstract :
The basic idea is to treat the real and reactive powers consumed by the inverters as voltage dependent loads. The DC equations are solved analytically or numerically, and the DC variables are eliminated from the power flow equations. The method is unified, since the effect of the DC-link is included in the Jacobian matrix. It is, however, not an extended variable method, since no DC variables are added to the solution vector. For nonsynchronous interconnections, the power flow equations can be solved separately for each area
