Abstract :
The privatisation of the electricity supply distribution networks in late 1990 has established the legality for private persons or companies to use these networks as a means of transmitting energy from one location to another or to third parties. With this increasing number of private generators, the need to control the quality of supply and safeguard the general public are receiving increasing prominence.
