Abstract :
The new coincidence system “IMPECC” which uses an extendable dead-time circuit common to both channels is described. The particulars of the electronics are presented. The use of two ADC´s and the symmetry in the two channels gives a very powerful instrument when measuring the activity of complex decay scheme radionuclides. The standardization of 85Sr (Monte Carlo simulation) is presented
