Abstract :
CRIEPI has constructed new test facilities at the UHV Shiobara Laboratory in order to carry out full-scale switching impulse flashover tests of UHV transmission lines. The facilities consist of a new impulse generator, an extant impulse generator, an automatic control and measurement system, and towers for specimens.
