Abstract
Presentations are one of the first managerial skills which a junior engineer must acquire. The object is to communicate with the audience without boring them so careful preparation is required. The author looks at how to plan a presentation and how it should be structured. The delivery which includes eye contact, appearance and stance is also described. Finally techniques of speech are discussed
