Abstract :
The method suggested by the ISO/DP7849 document has been applied to. sixty three three phase induction machines. In the light of these experiments, and of some theoretical considerations, an alternative method is proposed, where the characteristic parameter of a machine is the product of a sound radiating surface by a radiating coefficient.
