Abstract :
The “Beta-camera” used in the past in the authors´ laboratory for imaging of biomedical samples, has a noise level of about 50 counts per second. It is desirable to reduce this noise, in order to improve the detectability in the biological samples. Accordingly, here the authors report on a coincidence technique that reduces the noise level to almost zero
