Abstract :
The era of inexpensive energy is over. Further, solid fuel alternatives to fluid fuels for stationary power systems not only makes sense from a National security rationale, by limiting the exposure of the economy to imported liquid hydrocarbons, but from an economic viewpoint, as well.
