Abstract
Renewable energy sources are eminent for today´s era for the grid connection technology to supply electrical energy. This paper presents a novel connection topology of connecting various types of dc-dc converters to the ac grid. The efficiency and current rating of Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost converters are studied in this paper. Matlab results are presented for the comparison of connection topology. The buck converter proves out to be the most efficient connection fed from Photovoltaic supply for the proposed rating.
