Abstract :
The effect on the individual elements of a linear time-varying r/cT network resulting from multiplying its nonanticipatory impedance z(t,\\tau ) by a function m(t)n(\\tau ) is considered. Conditions on the multiplying function to conserve passivity and/or losslessness are found. Although the impedance z(t,\\tau ) considered in this paper will represent a one-port network, most of the results obtained can be easily extended to n -ports.
