Abstract :
A technique for rotating the frequency responses of separable filters is developed. In this technique transfer functions having rational powers of z are introduced and realized by input/output signal array interpolations. Several applications of this technique to designing two-dimensional recursive filters are presented. Two- and multidimensional manipulations are performed by a series of one-dimensional manipulations.
