Abstract :
A capacitively loaded dual-band internal handset antenna (IHA) with a novel planar structure is presented. Numerical results based on the finite element method for input return loss and radiation gain pattern are investigated and are in agreement with measured results. Effects of the parameters, such as locations of shorten pin, and the value of the loaded capacitor, on the IHA´s performance are also extensively studied.
