Abstract :
A new algorithm is presented which will allow for the realization of an impedance function by cascaded unit elements terminated by a resitive load. The algorithm does not require any factorization or cancellation of polynomials for degree reduction. The algorithm is useful in distributed RC network synthesis and in wave filter synthesis.
