Abstract :
A modified signal flowgraph approach is proposed to give a simple and systematic method for clarifying the difference between current controlled and voltage controlled negative resistances in linear domains. New rules for signal flowgraphs are introduced and discussed to predict a stable causality as the proper solution in the analysis of active circuits including negative resistances and/or controlled sources.
