Abstract :
This paper enumerates the simulation of hybrid Wind-Photovoltaic stand alone system used for remote applications as standalone systems. The method of investigation concerns with the definition of the system topology, interconnection of the various sources with maximum energy transfer, and optimum control. The optimal transfer of power from the sources are based on power demand, voltage and current. The optimal control of the entire system is obtained by regulating the DC bus voltage to a fixed value. The proposed hybrid system was simulated in MATLAB/Simulink and the results were shown.
