Abstract :
We consider the truncation error of the cardinal sampling expansion of stationary bandlimited processes. We show that the rate of convergence does not exceed 1/N2. This corrects the result of Pogany (see ibid., vol.39, p.1918, 1991) where a considerably faster rate of O((1n2N)/N2q) for every positive integer q was presented
