Abstract :
A general method is used to evaluate the passive element sensitivity performance of second order LP and BP filter sections, and to compare some well-known circuit types. In particular it is shown that simple single-amplifier networks can be less sensitive than analog computer types. These conclusions are verified by a Monte Carlo simulation.
