Abstract :
A new class of DC-free error correcting codes based on convolutional codes is proposed and its performance analysed. The proposed codes can be encoded and decoded using conventional convolutional encoders and decoders with slight modifications. The residual bit error rate and power spectral density of the proposed code are obtained and presented
