Abstract :
A new adaptive implementation of the Chase algorithm for binary block codes is proposed. Compared to the two efficiently used algorithms for iterative decoding, the standard Chase and Kaneko algorithms, the proposed algorithm can give the same performance with significant complexity reduction.
