  • Abstract
    Investigation of short line fault interrupting limits was conducted, making use of Mayr´s equation considering the characteristic values of breaker, shunt capacitance and time delay of short line fault condition. The investigation led to a proposed effective method for estimating the interrupting ability of gas circuit breakers.
