Abstract
Radioactive phosphorus 32 P has been used extensively in the assessment of cellular activity. By using mica end-window geiger tubes in contact with surface breast tumors, circadian fluctuations of the 32 P content of breast tumors have been demonstrated in vivo. This paper describes the equipment used and summarizes the results obtained.
